Video Marketing Tips
- Create a genuine connection between your business and the viewer.
- Decide the goal of your video: to inform customers, create interest in your product, or purely to entertain people?
- Choose a style that matches the type of product / service you’re selling
One of the questions that people ask me all the time is simply this;
“Hey Bree, what kind of marketing videos do I need to have on my website?”
It’s a simple question, with a slightly complex answer.
First, all marketing videos are similar in 1 respect; they create a connection between your business and the viewer.
So first, no matter what your product or service is, you want them to be genuine.
Not too much hype, and not too pushy.
After that the question is what you want your videos to accomplish.
Are they to inform customers, create interest in your product, or purely to entertain people?
All are valuable, but the one you choose depends on what type of product or service you’re selling.
There are spokesperson videos as well as ‘whiteboard’ videos that incorporate graphics and pictures…
Corporate videos that can be used for training…
And animation videos that can inform and entertain.
One thing I tell my customers is that it’s a great idea to slowly build a library of online videos…
So that in time you’ll have short, concise answers for whatever questions a customer might have.
All on video, and all working for you 24/7.
Sort of like the ones I have here on my site.
I hope that answers your question.
